End of Summer

We had a super busy summer. Ralph was busy every night with building the new cabin for the hunters and scouting. He made his first flight cross country. Because of the weather it took longer then expected but at least he made it. We were back east for almost 3 weeks. We also bought an airplane that Ralph is thinking about selling and getting one we can all ride in. Yeah!? Raf turned 4 in August. He got his own 4 wheeler. He does really good on it! Skylar turned 2 in August also. She got a 4 wheeler too but it is a bit smaller. Raf started pre-school this week. He really enjoys it. I love picking him up from there and seeing him so excited. Plus he gets to go to school with me afterwards for about 45 minutes. We are justing getting into hunting season. We have had 3 guys here so far. Two got something and one wounded one. Not a bad start. Ralph is thinking about selling the business after this year. I think it would be great! He got a new job as a ranch manager so he won't at Aviat anymore. We should have time for family stuff and some vacations now.

I'm including some pictures of the kids on Skylar's birthday, Raf with his 4 wheeler and the new cabin behind him, another rafting trip (Ralph and I are in the water), the house with stone on the front finally, snow on labor day, Raf on his first day of school, the kids feeding Mac, and just two cute ones.

Our Summer, So Far

Our summer started a little late this year. We kept getting snow well into June. It was great fun. Raf drove his John Deere in a 4th of July parade. He did so well. I think he enjoyed throwing candy the most. He was so cute and I was a proud mommy. He loved the fireworks too and was very upset when we were done. Skylar was so tired from the busy day but seemed to enjoy the fireworks. Ralph and I went rafting last weekend. So much fun!!! I'm the one in the center in black and purple. Ralph is the front left person. Ralph ended up falling out once. And I pulled him back in, I had to consider it for awhile first though. While we were four wheeling we came across the baby deer. SO SO cute! Raf just loved it! The kids and I flew to Pittsburgh yesterday. Our first flight was delayed an hour, so we had to run to the next flight in Chicago. That was great with two kids, two backpacks, and a stroller. But we made it and the kids were pretty good overall. We are excited to be "home" and see everyone. Ralph will be flying himself home next weekend. I'll be happy when he makes it safely.

Ralph Flying

Here are some pictures of Ralph flying and what he gets to see up there. The last Mountain picture is from the Mts. across the street from us. I've actually been to the highest one. One is of the Tetons and another is of snowmobile tracks on another Mt.

Easter

We went to go see the Easter Bunny and do an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. Raf got quite a few. Skylar had 3 and gave one to a little boy who didn't have any. Raf took off to find them before the bell rang and we had to call him back. They had fun on Easter day finding eggs. We had about 70 hinden and their baskets were in the dryer and shower. We had a great dinner. Our friends, Ralph's Dad and my Mom and Stepdad were all their. We had a full house.

Moved In!!!

We moved into our house this past weekend. It is WONDERFUL! I hate to leave the house. We still have some unpacking and arranging to do, but who cares... I love it! The kids love not having any furniture in the living room so they can drive their trucks all over. The animals are still adapting. Raven, our lab, still runs down to the old house when we aren't home since it is only a mile away. We need to break her of that. Remember we are only 2 hours from Yellowstone if anyone is going out there anytime. Stop by and see us!!!!
